LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS....OH MY!

WELL, NOT REALLY! Just ONE of the compound cats with her FOUR little kittens....

As a friend of ours (Hi, Gina) once stated in her and her husband's blog, Doha has become "infested" (no offense to cat-lovers out there) with cats. They were brought in to help with the mice problem the city was apparently suffering from and are obviously hear to stay. I don't mind this so much, except we are not cat people. Those of you who know us well enough know this about Roland and I, but THE KIDS are another story. The kittens are still very young and stay close to their mother. Last week, we discovered that they have picked OUR back yard (behind our shed, to be exact) to call home for now. "Why OUR house?" you ask. Well, I ask myself the same thing seeing as I was probably the only one in this compund that was not feeding the mother while she was pregnant. Today, you can catch the kids and, yes, even me, filling and refilling their little bowl we have whole heartedly put our for "Sandy". Now the big question is...DO WE KEEP ONE? Stay tuned for the answer.....but I do have to say that Nick's face in the last picture says it all! He gets so sad every time he has to come back into the house for bedtime......Yes, we can all say "AAAHHHH!"
